The First Step to a Successful Radiant Heat System is Insul-Tarp You find
yourself with a unique opportunity. You’ve been hired
to work on a large project from the ground up. The
major specification in the beginning is that the
customer wants
radiant heated floors
. The project is being built in a cold climate where
snow and freezing ground are a hazard. Your first
order of business will be to find and install the
proper ground insulation. Radiant floor heat
insulation is vital to any ground cover where radiant
heat will be used above. Insul-Tarp is the newest
insulation technology on the market today. The patented
design is ideal for ground insulation specifically in
conjunction with radiant heating systems.

Have Confidence in Fully Tested Ground Insulation Warmzone
doesn’t back or sell products it doesn’t
believe in. When it comes to state of the art
ground insulation, no corners were shaved
and no short cuts taken. Insul-Tarp is the favored
radiant barrier used in construction projects as the in-slab
insulation choice. This choice is with good reason.
Insul-Tarp is constructed of high quality materials
and uses unique features to achieve proper ground insulation.
When tried and true products matter to you in your projects, it is a safe bet to turn to Warmzone. Finding solid and reliable ground insulation in Insul-Tarp is one part of your project you won’t have to worry over. The physical properties of Insul-Tarp ground insulation speak for themselves. |
Insul-Tarp ground insulation is
lightweight and uses closed cell foam technology with a
durable poly-coating. Insul-Tarp packs all of this
innovation into three thin layers. Thanks to the
poly-coating Insul-Tarp is protected from harsh
surfaces and 100 percent protected from moisture. A critical
area when thinking of snow and ice. Using the right
radiant barrier is the first step to a successful long
lasting radiant heating system. When a project calls
for radiant heat flooring you can save the day by
installing the best ground insulation on the market today.
Insul-Tarp offers excellent thermal performance and a
vapor barrier that will assure proper insulation for
the efficient radiant heating systems laid above.
Insul-Tarp ground insulation features
cross-woven polyethylene, high density closed-cell foam and
polyethylene bubble, and two layers of reflective aluminum.
The average thermal resistance, or tested R-Value for
Insul-Tarp is R-7.5 and was tested in accordance with
ASTM C518. Having confidence in the radiant heat
insulation you are installing is important to any project.
When calculating heat loads for radiant heating
systems, a performance equivalent of R-10 can be used.
This is not a test R-value, yet laboratory tests
suggest and support this number as the reasonable gauge
for measuring performance.
